I wonder what would happen if we started really looking at our city? If we actually thought about places we’ve only driven through, or took a longer glance at our own neighborhoods? Would we have more or fewer questions? Would we understand one another more / better / differently?
I’ve had this idea brewing in my head for some time. As I explore Omaha, I find myself asking questions about who we are and how we came to be how we are today. Talking with community leaders and fellow citizens only increases my curiousity.
Juxtapose Omaha is my attempt to ask questions, focus more deeply, assume less, and look further into the places and spaces that make up our experiences and points of view.
